West Oaks Dunkin’ Donuts Hosts Cup Stacking Contest with Alief YMCA, Literacy Advance, Stratford High and WHAM this Friday
WHO:
Members of the community, fans of local high schools and non-profits, curious coffee drinkers and members of the media are invited to join Dunkin’ Donuts and mascot “Cuppy” for the Grand Opening of the new Dunkin’ Donuts restaurant located at 2808 Highway 6 South, Suite B, Houston, TX 77082 (near West Oaks Mall). In celebration of the Grand Opening, Alief Family YMCA; Literacy Advance of Houston; Spring Branch ISD’s Stratford High School; and West Houston Assistance Ministries, Inc. will compete in a cup stacking contest – the grand prize is $1,000!
The cup stacking contestants will be: Kevin Kebede, Executive Director of Alief Family YMCA; Josh Beasley, Director of Development for Literacy Advance; Christopher Juntti, Principal of Spring Branch ISD’s Stratford High School; and Cindy Orman, Care Ministry Supervisor for West Houston Assistance Ministries. Others expected to participate in the ribbon-cutting and festivities include: Dunkin’ Donuts Field Marketing Manager Nathan Pressler; Dunkin’ franchisee Stephen David; and other local community partners.
WHAT:
All members of the community are welcome to enjoy free medium coffees, other beverage samples, contest, VIP ribbon-cutting, prize giveaways, and the newest Dunkin’ Donuts menu offerings, such as the Chicken Apple Sausage Breakfast Sandwich and the Frozen Arnold Palmer Coolatta. As a nod to the community, this location will offer Free Medium Coffee – hot or cold – upon request to customers from “soft opening” on Monday, May 12 through the end of the day on May 16.
